24 Hour Monitoring

Mission Protection Systems uses the industry’s preeminent monitoring center with mirrored reliability on both coasts: Syracuse, NY, a 75,000 sq. ft. headquarters facility and in Corona, CA, a 35,000 sq. ft. full-load capable monitoring center. In the event of a natural disaster or other catastrophic event, every aspect of our technology, infrastructure and operations is multi-redundant to work faultlessly and assure error-free, uninterrupted service for our customers.

By offering tomorrow’s generation of monitoring technology today, our service is a quantum leap ahead of other security monitoring providers.

Mission Protection’s monitoring centers are protected 24/7 by analytic video surveillance and physical security officers, plus continuously updated facial recognition access technology and multi-agency approved fail safes. Custom designed to meet and exceed industry standards, our facilities are approved by multiple licensing and certification agents including the United States Department of Defense, Factory Mutual (FM) and Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL) for UUFX, CRZH, CRZM, CV56 and system compliance with UL 1981.

Verified Response

Many police jurisdictions now require verification before a response is dispatched. Mission Protection Systems Event-driven Video Verification Monitoring is an effective means for mitigating this ‘verified response’ issue and for ensuring a faster police response.

Our Monitoring Center Specialists gain visual and depending on installed equipment, audible verification of the situation. This avoids a false alarm that can result in a costly fine for the customer.

Additionally, Mission Protection Systems My Account Pro allows customers to immediately view clips of the event and become involved in the decision to dispatch or not. Our Push-notification services inform them of an event so they can act quickly to prevent a false alarm or confirm the need for police response.

Emergency Line Monitoring

A direct connection to the monitoring station ensuring immediate response, Emergency Line Monitoring, is a critical security requirement for commercial and educational campuses. Emergency calls are routed to the monitoring station via phone lines or wireless communication devices and are considered by security, police and fire authorities as force-multipliers that can increase coverage and reduce false alarms.

Emergency Line Monitoring for Elevator Alarms and Call Boxes, for example–is an increasingly popular service used for:

  • Corporate and educational campuses
  • Multi-level commercial and residential buildings
  • Parking garages
  • Isolated or remote areas where people work or pass through

Elevator alarms and call boxes monitored by Mission Protection Systems provide a remote connection to our central station. There, a specially-trained operator:

  • Receives the call
  • Associates the call with an issuing emergency line using Automatic Number Identification (ANI)
  • Immediately responds to clarify the situation and dispatch security personnel
